Over the past 20 weeks, Sara Perego, has been part of our Automotive team, supporting a wide variety of projects and gaining first-hand experience in the world of automotive events. As her internship comes to an end, we asked her to reflect on her journey and share some of the key learnings and highlights from her time at maximice events group:

“When I started my internship at maximice events group, I was looking for an opportunity to gain practical experience in the events industry while challenging myself in an international environment. The combination of MICE and Automotive events, together with the company’s excellent reputation and the variety of projects, made Maximice the perfect place to learn and grow professionally.

During these 20 weeks, I had the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects and events. From supporting driving experiences and vehicle launches to researching venues, communicating with suppliers, preparing presentations, and assisting with event operations, every day brought new challenges and valuable learning opportunities. One of the highlights of my internship was being part of the Scherer event in Mallorca, where I experienced first-hand the amount of preparation, coordination, and teamwork required to deliver a high-quality event.

Beyond the professional experience, what made this journey truly special were the people. From day one, I felt welcomed by the entire team. Their support, trust, and willingness to share their knowledge helped me develop both professionally and personally. Working in a fully Spanish-speaking environment also pushed me out of my comfort zone and significantly improved my communication skills and confidence in the language.

Looking back, I am taking away much more than experience in event management. I am leaving with a deeper understanding of the industry, new professional skills, valuable lessons, and memories that will stay with me throughout my career. I am truly grateful for all the opportunities, trust, and experiences maximice has given me, and I would like to thank the entire team for making this internship such a rewarding and unforgettable experience.”
