At maximice, we believe that the best learning happens through real experiences.

During her 4-month MICE internship at our Mallorca headquarters, Jane had the opportunity to be involved in every stage of the event planning process, from client briefings and venue research to proposal creation, supplier coordination and on-site event support.

As Jane says:

I already had some experience in event management when I joined maximice, but I wanted to learn more about how the industry works. From the start, I felt that maximice was exactly what I was looking for.

I loved being involved in every stage of the event process. This included talking to the first clients and researching venues. It also included preparing proposals, communicating with suppliers, and being on-site to see everything come together. Being part of the whole process gave me some great insights into how to create a successful event.

Every project was different, so each one was a new challenge and an opportunity to learn. I quickly realised how important it is to work as a team, to be organised, to be creative and to pay close attention to detail if you want to create memorable experiences for the clients.

I have learnt a lot from my experience of managing events, and I have also grown as a person. I became more confident, better organised and more comfortable taking on responsibility. My team supported me from the beginning and gradually gave me more and more responsibilities. They made me feel like an important part of the team.

I’m so thankful for everything I learned during my time at maximice. It’s been a great experience. I’m really enjoying my job and the people I work with are great. Thanks for making this journey so special!
