Our Madrid office team is growing, and we are thrilled to welcome Marta García Descalzo as our new MICE Project Manager, who will also be supporting our Marbella office, as she was born and raised there. Here’s what Marta shared about her background and journey:

My name is Marta García, originally from Málaga. I hold a BBA in Global Hospitality Management from Les Roches Marbella, a program that provided me with a strong international perspective and a solid foundation in service excellence, operations, and project coordination, which are key aspects for delivering flawless events.

Throughout my experience in different well-known organizations, I have developed organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, demanding environments. Additionally, I have collaborated in the coordination of personalized travel experiences, which strengthened my understanding of client service and supplier relations. This experience, combined with my hospitality background, led me to pursue my dream career in the events industry.

To further develop my professional path, I have joined maximice events group, where I continue to grow within the corporate events sector. In my role as MICE Project Manager, I support the planning and execution of events across Madrid, Málaga, and Marbella, coordinating logistics, negotiating with suppliers, assisting during on-site operations, and ensuring that every project meets the company’s standards of quality, creativity, and precision in every sense.
