I’m Mauricio Alemán, and on behalf of my team I would like to welcome you to our local branch office situated near the beating heart of the Island, Gran Canaria.

Gran Canaria is also known as “miniature continent” due to its geographical location and mild weather, making it a perfect destination all year round.

Stunning natural beauty

Gran Canaria counts 14 micro climate zones offering diverse landscapes ranging from sandy beaches to lush forests and volcanic mountains.

Whether hosting outdoor activities or incorporating team-building excursions, Gran Canaria’s natural beauty is a perfect way to combine work and leisure. Its landscapes also allow for a wide range of outdoor adventures, from hiking and biking to water sports, making it an ideal choice for groups looking for adventure and relaxation in equal measure.

Short distances & local gastronomy

Visitors can explore the city by foot or on a stroll. Alicante has more than 300,000 inhabitants and for them almost everything is within walking distance. You will perhaps discover “Turrón”, which is a regional specialty, a dessert consisting mainly of almonds, egg whites and honey, which is typically offered during the Christmas season.

Of course, one cannot be in the Alicante area without trying the typical paella, overlooking the sea by the harbor on a warm sunny day.

But also the Mediterranean cuisine in the charming surrounding fishing villages on the coast is universally highly praised.

Exceptional climate

Also the choice of leisure possibilities is unlimited: from the dunes of Maspalomas over the steep coast in the west to the lush pine forests in the island center. Golf and water sports, hiking in both summer and winter.

The hotel availability on such a popular holiday island as Gran Canaria is of course rich and differentiated. The southwestern part of Maspalomas is particularly suitable for meetings and congresses due to the congress hall, Melone Ras. There are a variety of high-quality 4- and 5-star hotels, with a total of several thousand beds capacity, all within walking distance.

The island is easily accessible via its international airport, offering direct connections to major cities across Europe.

Founded in 2008 and led since then by Markus Müller and Juan M. Caldentey the company reflects the perfect combination of German engineering and Spanish passion. From our head office in Mallorca, we coordinate our ten local offices and two specialized business units – MICE & Automotive.

MICE

MICE is our business unit for incentives, meetings, team buildings, product presentations and more… For us, event management is much more than the mere handling of events or the stringing together of partial services. AUTOMOTIVE

Our business unit AUTOMOTIVE understands the specific needs of car and motorbike launches, driving experiences, press and training events. In our 20 years of organizing these events for car manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Audi, BMW Mini, Ford and many more, we have grown good long standing relationships with the authorities, government and police – in addition to that our immense knowledge of scenic and secret routes or photo spots is second to none.

THE

MANAGEMENT

The native Aschaffenburger spontaneously ended up on Mallorca in 2002 – since then he calls the island his home. Markus is the thinker and driving force behind Maximice.

With his strategic and analytical skills and his passion for innovation and perfection, he always keeps the company on a successful course.

Besides coordinating our event team on German-language projects, he is responsible for the marketing, information technology and business development department.

Born in Palma de Mallorca and stemming from a family with a strong touristic tradition he brings that valuable touch of Mallorcan passion to our company. Juan Miguel is the heart and soul of Maximice.

Having studied Hotel Management and Food & Beverage, he began his career as a hotel manager before starting his own path with a very popular restaurant chain on the island.

In addition to coordinating our event team on English-language projects, he is in charge of Finance, Sales and Contracting.
