I’m Liliam Vich, Area Manager for Sevilla at maximice events group.

After years of creating MICE experiences in Sevilla, in the beginning of 2020 we opened our 9th office in this colourful city. Seville, the heart of Andalusia, combines rich history with modern infrastructure, making it an exceptional MICE destination. Iconic venues like the Alcázar and state-of-the-art congress centers offer unique event experiences.

From flamenco shows to networking in rooftop venues overlooking the Giralda, Seville effortlessly blends tradition and innovation for MICE events. Looking forward to welcoming you here soon!

WHY SEVILLA

Unique blend of history and modernity

Whether the foundation of Seville was really carried out by the greatest of the ancient heroes: Hercules, may well be questioned but even beyond its fantastic founding myth, the fourth largest city in Spain can look back on such a legendary history. Thanks to its rich historic past, the city shows monuments from all eras and the architectural influences of the Moors is seen throughout the old town even after the Christians conquest of the 13th century.

The city offers an array of iconic venues, from the UNESCO-listed Alcázar to cutting-edge congress and exhibition centers. Its walkable city center makes it easy for attendees to explore historic landmarks, like the picturesque Santa Cruz district, which narrow streets and flower-filled courtyards are surmounted by the Giralda.

The heart of Andalusian life

Although Seville is not a coastal town, it is dominated by the river Guadalquivir. Thanks to this, it boasts a landscape of date palms and subtropical flowers, despite a permanently sunny period from April to October, ensuring nearly year-round opportunities for outdoor events.

Participants can immerse in flamenco performances, enjoy traditional tapas tours, or cruise along the river, creating unforgettable moments for team-building or networking activities.

Magnificent horsemen and coachmen parade through the streets and women show up in flamenco costumes, specially during the Feria de Abril, ensuring a memorable and inspiring experience for all attendees.

The cradle of the tapas culture

There is hardly a better way to end an event day than to go from bar to bar with friends and colleagues and experience the so-called tapas-hopping and trying the local drinks and specialties there – there is hardly a better place for experiencing all of this than Seville.

Seville is well-connected, with an international airport and high-speed rail links to Madrid, Barcelona, and other key cities, ensuring smooth travel for global attendees. The also city boasts world-class accommodations, from luxurious hotels to boutique options, catering to every preference.

With 10 local offices maximice events group is the largest owner-managed DMC in Spain, creating live, hybrid and digital events for its clients around the world. Founded in 2008 and led since then by Markus Müller and Juan M. Caldentey the company reflects the perfect combination of German engineering and Spanish passion. From the beginning we have been growing sustainably in terms of human resources, local branch offices, environmental awareness and financial security for our clients.

Today we are one of the most solid and trustful DMC’s in Spain. As your local partner our mission is to make event management in Spain easy for you! With our core team of 35 experts we provide a 360-degree service, always on-brief, on-time, and on-budget. From our head office in Mallorca, we coordinate our ten local offices and two specialized business units – MICE & Automotive.

MICE

MICE is our business unit for incentives, meetings, team buildings, product presentations and more… For us, event management is much more than the mere handling of events or the stringing together of partial services. We wish to evoke emotions and turn your event into an activity that reaches further than the occasion itself and will remain as a memorable experience in the minds of all participants. We always endeavor to face this challenge with passion, creativity and the highest of quality standards.

AUTOMOTIVE

Our business unit AUTOMOTIVE understands the specific needs of car and motorbike launches, driving experiences, press and training events. In our 20 years of organizing these events for car manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Audi, BMW Mini, Ford and many more, we have grown good long standing relationships with the authorities, government and police – in addition to that our immense knowledge of scenic and secret routes or photo spots is second to none.

THE

MANAGEMENT

The native Aschaffenburger spontaneously ended up on Mallorca in 2002 – since then he calls the island his home. Markus is the thinker and driving force behind Maximice.

With his strategic and analytical skills and his passion for innovation and perfection, he always keeps the company on a successful course.

Besides coordinating our event team on German-language projects, he is responsible for the marketing, information technology and business development department.

Born in Palma de Mallorca and stemming from a family with a strong touristic tradition he brings that valuable touch of Mallorcan passion to our company. Juan Miguel is the heart and soul of Maximice.

Having studied Hotel Management and Food & Beverage, he began his career as a hotel manager before starting his own path with a very popular restaurant chain on the island.

In addition to coordinating our event team on English-language projects, he is in charge of Finance, Sales and Contracting.
