maximice events group is a leading company in its sector at a national level, currently with a team of more than 30 professional and technical experts in their respective areas. Together, we are specialists in organizing corporate events in Spain for international companies and automotive launches. Our clients include prestigious event agencies and globally recognized brands.
From our headquarters in Mallorca, we coordinate 9 offices located in Spain’s main destinations: Ibiza, Valencia-Alicante, Málaga-Marbella, Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Bilbao, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife (the last three in partnership).
We operate by dividing our business into two departments: MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Events) and Automotive, focused on new car model launches, both internal and press presentations.
Your Responsibilities
- Incident Management.
- Maintenance of hardware and software to ensure proper functioning.
- Execution of regular checks on network and data security.
- Provide technical support for software and hardware, both on-site and remotely.
- Availability for any urgent situations.
Requirements
Software
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT management, ideally within events, hospitality, or related industries.
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services (Microsoft 365, AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity.
- Experience with CRM systems and PWA/mobile app management is highly valued.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish and/or German are a plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Hardware
- Knowledge of computer equipment assembly and installation will be valued (servers, laptops, etc.).
- Management of multifunction printers.
Networks
- Network administration: VLAN, OPENESESE/FORCEPOINT firewalls.
- Knowledge of IT security, cybersecurity, and data protection.
Telephony
- Proficiency in Android systems.
Skills
- Ability to set priorities and maximize time management.
- Ability to manage the IT department and its different offices.
- Ability to manage the IT department’s own team, if applicable.
- Prepare departmental budgets in collaboration with management.
- Expense control in collaboration with management.
- Control and management of IT providers.
- Asset management.
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practices for the company.
- Supervise and define timelines for major IT projects, including system updates, migrations, and outages.
- Identify problem areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
- Decision-making skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt.
- Advise management on new technologies or system improvements.
- Ability to travel.
- Availability for urgent situations.
- English proficiency: upper-intermediate level (B2).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
