We are expanding the team in our Madrid office and our latest recruit is Manuel Soto. Born in Madrid and since then a resident of this city, Manuel knew from a very young age that he was going to dedicate himself to the world of travel.

He studied Tourism Business Management and has worked in many sectors of tourism. “My first experience was in the kitchen of a hotel in Vail, Colorado (USA) back in the last century, I knew that I would dedicate myself to the world of travel”, explains Manuel. Now he has been working in the MICE segment for more than 15 years and has managed almost all kinds of events. He has worked for different types of agencies, from DMCs to entertainment, including productions and virtual event organisations.

Manuel loves his profession, but what stands out the most is that it has given him the opportunity to meet many interesting people from all over the world. He has been lucky enough to be in countries such as Korea, China, Peru and also to frequently visit his favourite cities in Spain such as Seville and Barcelona. “I am still passionate about this profession, and I love to be in the action of every event.” Manuel describes himself as a positive, easy-going person, and a good team player and we can confirm this.

Not only does he travel in his professional life, travelling is an important part of his private life as well. When he is not spending his free time with his family and friends in his parents’ hometown Mijares, he likes to be active by hiking, basketball or swimming. And in quieter moments, Manuel spends his time cooking for his family and enjoying his culinary creations.
