This is what Sara has to say about her MICE internship in our Madrid office

At maximice events group, we love seeing young talent grow and thrive in the world of events. A few months ago, Sara Riederer joined our Madrid office as a MICE intern and she has been making the most of the experience ever since.

Passionate for travel, international camps and connecting with people from diverse cultures, Sara is currently studying Communication, Protocol, and Event Management at Universidad Nebrija in Madrid.

Here’s what Sara had to say after completing her three-month MICE internship at maximice:

“I’ve had the opportunity to join the MICE department at maximice as an intern, and it’s been a great experience that has truly confirmed my passion for event management.

During my three months at maximice, I’ve learned that planning ahead, paying attention to detail, and strong teamwork are key to making any event run smoothly and successfully, while avoiding mistakes. What has surprised me most is how dynamic this field really is. Every project is completely different, with it’s own unique challenges and creative opportunities. I never imagined how exciting and challenging this world could be, and it’s made me even more enthusiastic about continuing my journey in this field.

Thanks to the guidance and support of Ursula and Manuel, I’ve felt genuinely integrated into the team and had the opportunity to learn by being involved in real projects. They’ve shared their knowledge generously and helped me understand how to work under pressure and handle challenges positively. Their experience and professionalism have inspired me.

I’m very grateful for the trust they’ve placed in me and everything I’ve been able to learn trough this hands on experience. This internship has reinforced that I made the right choice by studying and working in the events industry, and I look forward to continuing to grow and contribute in this exciting professional path!”
