One more year, we had the pleasure of participating in the SpainDMCs Annual Meeting, this time hosted in the beautiful city of Santander. This annual gathering brings together senior representatives from Spain’s leading DMCs, all of whom are members of the association, to exchange knowledge, strengthen the sector, and look ahead to the future of MICE in Spain.
The event offered a perfectly balanced agenda, combining high‑value working sessions, opportunities to discover the destination, and, above all, meaningful moments to connect with colleagues from across the MICE industry.

The working sessions addressed several strategic areas that are currently shaping the evolution of our industry, including:
- The role of associations in strengthening the MICE ecosystem
- The impact and opportunities of AI in our daily operations
- The importance of effective supplier relationships
- Other strategic topics relevant to destination management and event design
These discussions were especially enriching and have given us plenty to reflect on as we continue to innovate and fine‑tune our service approach.
